2025-2026 audition material:
you will be placed into either Sinfonia or String Orchestra based on your audition. Please sign up for a spot during 0 period on the first week of school:
All orchestra students will meet on Tuesday (8/26) and Wednesday (8/27), auditions will begin on Thursday (8/28). Sign ups for audition time slots will happen in the first two days of school during 0 period.
Audition for 2025-2026 school year

Violins- prepare the first violin part of Westridge Overture mm. 200-end (play high divisi if you feel comfortable playing it)
Viola- prepare Westridge Overture mm. 203-226
Cello- prepare Westridge Overture mm. 139-148
Bass- prepare Westridge Overture mm. 1-27
Students will be placed into either Sinfonia or String Orchestra based on this audition. I'm looking for a good sound, intonation, rhythm, and musicality.
Sheet Music
Starting this school year, students will need to print out their own music. Required sheet music will be in the google drive folder linked here. I will make announcement in class or on google classroom when sheet music needs to be printed and ready for the next rehearsal.
